Aims

OpenTEA is meant to be a place to:
E-learn about sustainability in the agro-food sector providing theoretical and practical materials to be used to develop professionalities and/or increase awareness;

Combine & integrate different materials available to build personalized programs answering to specific needs, priorities and requirements;
+
Exchange opinions, ideas and experiences to build a dynamic environment where users are actively involved in its development.


To achieve all these goals, OpenTEA has been implemented in an innovative way pointing especially on being:
Open a user-friendly tool which use is not limited to experts but is potentially open to everyone;

Pragmatic consistent materials in efficient and modern formats in the way that the right information can be obtained quickly and easly (...as a cup of tea);

Scientific for each material a transparent validation process by a panel of experts with a proven scientific background;
+
Dynamic opportunity for every users to contribute actively rating the available materials, proposing new materials to be included and getting involved in our Working Groups activities.
